Where's the fun house this year?

Nude over Vitebsk
Marc Chagall, 1933

This morning I woke shortly after sun-up, and the sun was, indeed, out.

Then I woke up again at 9:23am when my stereo-alarm started playing the AM radio station that broadcasts Coast to Coast 1-4am, but at this time it was playing Animal Collective's "Fireworks." The sun was behind dark clouds.

The first thought I had was toward true understanding of a Lady GaGa quote.

By the time I made it to the shower "Cecilia" was orbiting unceasingly around inside my head.

All of that (combined with the brisk rain) got into my cells, mixed it all around, and made me feel like these paintings.
